THE LALA FAMILY
LaLa Taqueria is the culmination of three great minds – Chef Fabián, Chef Chema and Héléne— merging unique life experiences and shared passion for hospitality .
After cutting his teeth building several successful concepts in Los Angeles, Fabián moved his family to New York City to become head chef at Soho hotspot, La Esquina. There, he met Chema, where the two bonded over their mutual love of Mexican street food. After working closely for the next couple years, Fabián decided it was time to venture out on his own, with a vision to create a new semi-authentic taqueria concept that blended a laid-back LA vibe with New York grit. Knowing they needed a business mind to complement their creativity, Héléne joined and completed their trio. Looking for a home to build their dream, when they discovered Larchmont’s walkable town and friendly atmosphere, it was just right. A little Los Angeles plus a dash of NYC and a lot of Larchmont – and LaLa Taqueria came to life.
As a conscious steward to our community, our ingredients are sourced from responsible producers and distributors (partners) and our compostable take-out containers are eco-friendly. LaLa is more than a place to grab delicious tacos and tasty margaritas, it’s an experience. Whether you need a chill spot to unwind with friends or looking for a quick bite, LaLa’s warm hospitality, quality food, drinks and curated playlists invite you to stay as long as you like.
